Comedian Lil Duval (aka Roland Powell) told listeners on The Breakfast Club last week that he’d kill a sex partner if he found out they were transgender.
Said Duval: “This might sound messed up and I don’t care: she dying.”
Duval also seemed to be freaked out that the act would make him gay.
Transgender author and activist Janet Mock had appeared on the show the week prior, and DJ Envy, Duval’s co-host, presented Duval with Mock’s book cover and said “tell me she ain’t pretty,” to which Duval replied, “nope. That n* doing his thing. Not gonna get me.”

At least 15 transgender people have been murdered so far in 2017.
