As we reported earlier, British Olympic diver Tom Daley and Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black married over the weekend.
And now the couple has shared the first photos of their wedding which took place at The Bovey Castle Hotel, a luxury hotel on Dartmoor National Park in Devon, UK.
Wrote Black in an Instagram post which showed the couple standing on a stone bridge gazing into each other’s eyes: “So… what did you do this weekend?”
According to some media reports, Daley acted out a scene from Romeo and Juliet but at least one guest shot down the rumor, the BBC reports:
A guest at the wedding said media reports the diver re-enacted a scene from Romeo and Juliet were untrue.
“I’m not sure which wedding they were at, but it wasn’t the one I attended,” he said.
Daley also shot down the rumor, hashtagging #NoRomeo in his post, along with info suggesting that the couple wore Burberry and the London Gay Men’s Chorus performed at the wedding.
Daley effused in his Instagram post: “On 6th May 2017, I married the love of my life, @dlanceblack ❤️ We shared the day with 120 of our closest friends and family, from Texarkana to Plymouth! Thank you to everyone who made this weekend the most special weekend of our lives!”
