Gus Kenworthy took home another first place trophy on Monday, winning the freeski Slopestyle event at the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado. He seemed particularly energized by the fact that people are greeting him at the bottom of the slope waving rainbow flags at the finish line.
Wrote Kenworthy on Instagram: “Couldn’t be more stoked to take the win in slopestyle at the @dewtour today for the second year in a row! Last year’s win felt great but the conditions were less than ideal and a lot of guys struggled to carry speed down the course. This year, the conditions were amazing and almost every guy in the field landed a heavy run so the win feels much more legitimate! Was also really touched to see people holding rainbow flags at the bottom of the course – thank you!!! Big ups to all the boys for killing it today! “

Kenworthy is also a silver fox for the holidays. Last night he showed off a new haircut on social media, attributing Anderson Cooper for the inspiration. Kenworthy met Anderson in November at the Elton John AIDS Foundation gala.
