B-52s band member Kate Pierson wed her longtime partner Monica Coleman this weekend in Hawaii surrounded by B-52s bandmates and celebrity friends reports SheWired.
The ceremony itself was a music-filled affair with singer Sia performing “Crush Me With Your Love,” a song she exclusively wrote and sang for the couple. Fellow B-52s band mate Fred Schneider fulfilled the role of best man at the ceremony, delivering a speech for the couple.
Pierson wore a colorful Norma Kamali parachute dress piece while Coleman wore a similar piece from AllSaints. The happy couple received well wishes from fellow musicians including Chaka Khan, Janelle Monae, Keith Urban, Pharrell and Nile Rodgers.
