HBO released a teaser trailer of their new sci-fi series Westworld starring an ominous looking Anthony Hopkins set amongst dark visuals. The series is based off a similarly titled 1973 film written and directed by novelist Michael Crichton about robots malfunctioning and attacking patrons in a futuristic Western-themed amusement park.
HBO’s adaptation stars Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright and Evan Rachel Wood and airs sometime in 2016. Watch the intriguing, yet sinister, teaser below:
