Orange Is The New Black star Laverne Cox and Vogue alumnus André Leon Talley sat down in the Bravo Clubhouse and answered a viewer’s question about what they think of Caitlyn Jenner’s style.
“I think she looks great. I love what she’s wearing…Go Caitlyn!”, Cox said.
Talley added:
“I think she looks fabulous. I thought she was fabulous on the Vanity Fair cover. And I think she looks like a perfect, wealthy, affluent, white woman who’s privileged and that’s important.”
It’s good to know that Talley’s eyes are not starving for beauty where Caitlyn is concerned.
But host Andy Cohen wondered, has there been too much focus on what Caitlyn’s wearing and what she looks like as a woman? Cox weighed in:
“That is part of the culture we live in….Particularly when we talk about women and trans women, [it’s important] that we focus on who the person is beyond what we look like. I’d like to think I have a lot more to offer beyond what I look like.”
