Yesterday we had the opportunity to talk with longtime Democratic activist and Obama national finance committee member Terry Bean about the new site he has launched, LGBT for OBAMA. I’ve mentioned it here before. It’s a site of convergence for fundraising, media, and information — a place where people can go to learn the stark differences between Obama’s and McCain’s positions on LGBT issues.
Towleroad’s Corey Johnson talked to Bean about some of those differences and his reasons for starting LGBT for Obama. Apologies in advance for some of the audio quality. Our microphone, unfortunately, was experiencing a bit of interference during some parts of the interview.
