I mentioned that I’d have a surprise guest blogger starting on Saturday. Not only will he be a guest blogger, he’s never blogged before — ever. I am lucky enough to count among my friends the handsome, witty, mysterious, and fiercely intelligent Christopher Rice, and he has generously agreed to keep this space living and breathing while I’m on vacation. Now, I have no idea what Christopher will be posting about — will it be shockingly controversial or politically subversive? I have no idea, but I do know this site could not be in better hands.
One additional note of appreciation to everyone who visits this site on a regular basis. I really enjoy having the interaction with y’all. Today, Towleroad had its 200,000th visitor since I started counting last August, referred to the site by Exceptional Mediocrity (there’s a joke in there somewhere). So, thanks Kia, for the link. Another crazy statistic is that 55,000 of those visits came in June alone — was it all the flesh? Whatever you’re coming here for, thanks for visiting!
